The Watt Ave. Main Extension Project (Project) consists of the construction of a water main connecting two portions of SSWD’s North Service Area primarily to provide water supply reliability. 

Major project facts:

• Approximately 3,750 feet of 12- and 16-inch diameter pipe is to be installed
• The current construction cost are as follows:
  • Phase 1 (Potholing Phase): $66,760.00
  • Phase 2 (Creek Crossing Phase): $576,580.00
  • Phase 3 (Pipeline Installation within Right of Way Phase): $2,128,848.85

California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA):

•  Notice of Exemption (NOE)

Schedule:

• Construction began late in CY2022. 
• Construction is anticipated to be completed late in CY2023.
