Join us for a public meeting to discuss the possible combination of Sacramento Suburban Water District (SSWD) and Del Paso Manor Water District (DPMWD).

Since 2019, SSWD and DPMWD have discussed combining. Both serve neighboring areas, with DPMWD largely surrounded by SSWD. Discussions recently gained momentum after the Sacramento Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCo) adopted a Resolution of Intent to Dissolve DPMWD.

A combination could offer DPMWD financial stability and access to grant funding for infrastructure upgrades, while SSWD is well-positioned to integrate DPMWD customers and staff without exposing existing SSWD customers to financial risk.
