Environmental Compliance Supervisor

 Sacramento Suburban Water District is seeking an exceptional Environmental Compliance Supervisor! This position is essential for maintaining the highest standards of water quality adherence with federal, state, and local regulations. This administrative role is responsible for overseeing sampling operations and liaising with outside laboratories, as the District does not have an on-site laboratory. They will also manage the water quality database in WaterTrax, verify that compliance reporting is thorough and accurate, and prepare detailed reports for regulatory agencies, the District’s Board of Directors, and the public. The ideal candidate has exceptional written and verbal communication skills, a desire to collaborate across an organization, and the ability to operate as an authority on environmental compliance for the District. The next Environmental Compliance Supervisor will oversee a highly qualified team of four in a supportive and dynamic environment and manage an approximate departmental budget of $400k.
